Location: Edinburgh West
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 36 hours per week
Rate of Pay: £13.48 per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and organised Industrial Administrator to support our busy Fleet Department during a key office transition and beyond. This is a hands-on administrative role with an operational edge, ideal for someone who's just as comfortable managing paperwork as they are handling practical logistics.
In the initial phase, you will be responsible for transferring archived vehicle documentation from our previous office to our new site, using a company-provided small van. Once relocated, you will take charge of systematically filing and organising fleet records and will then continue to support the team with ongoing administrative tasks related to fleet operations.
Key Responsibilities:Drive a small van to safely collect and deliver archived fleet documents between locationsAccurately file and index vehicle documentation in line with compliance requirementsUpdate and maintain internal records, spreadsheets, and databasesProvide general admin support such as scanning, photocopying, data entry, and booking vehicle inspections or maintenanceAssist the Fleet Manager and team with day-to-day operational tasksRequirements:Full UK driving licence with confidence operating a small vanPrevious experience in an industrial admin, logistics, or fleet-related environment preferredStrong organisational skills and high attention to detailComfortable with physical tasks (lifting/moving archive boxes as needed)Proficient in basic IT systems (Excel, Outlook, database entry)Able to work independently and as part of a wider teamWhat We Offer:A varied and hands-on role within a supportive teamOpportunity to grow within the fleet or wider operations functionFull training and induction providedA key role in maintaining fleet compliance and efficiency
