Maintain the appearance of planters and other indoor features by cleaning, replacing, or making repairs. Install new flowers, bulbs, and shrubs in indoor planters. Maintain indoor flower beds, baskets, and boxes by watering, removing weeds, trimming, and performing other maintenance tasks. Replace and transplant indoor plants as needed. Maintain indoor plants by trimming and pruning. Ensure proper watering and care of all indoor plants. Remove and bag trash from all indoor trash cans. Ensure all equipment used for indoor plant maintenance is clean and properly stored after use. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report defective equipment, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; protect company assets. Support the team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down ladders. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. **Safety and Security** + Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury. + Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment. + Report work-related accidents or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor. + Follow Hazardous Material Management Program procedures for handling and disposing of chemicals, fertilizer, pesticides, etc., including using Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). + Follow policies and procedures for the safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines. + Complete appropriate safety training and certifications to perform work tasks. + Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to management and security/safety personnel. + Follow property-specific procedures for handling emergency situations (e.g., evacuations, medical emergencies, natural disasters). **Policies and Procedures** + Follow company and department policies and procedures. + Protect company tools, equipment, machines, or other assets in accordance with company policies and procedures. + Ensure uniform, nametags, and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, professional, and in compliance with company policies and procedures. + Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors. **Working with Others** + Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect. + Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals. **Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement** + Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. **Physical Tasks** + Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects. + Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. + Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. + Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. + Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces. + Move up and down a ladder. + Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. + Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills. **Indoor Plant Maintenance** + Monitor indoor plants to ensure a pleasant appearance. + Maintain indoor flower beds, baskets, and boxes by watering, removing weeds, trimming, and performing other maintenance functions as needed. + Install new flowers, bulbs, and shrubs in indoor planters. + Replace and transplant indoor plants as needed. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience. Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
