The Indirect Transformation team is the company’s internal engine for Operational Excellence in indirect procurement. Our mission is to turn good sourcing practices into world-class, repeatable processes that cut cost, boost speed, and eliminate waste across every indirect category—MRO, IT, professional services, you name it. **Category Implementation & Supplier Management**
+ Run RFQs/RFPs, basic negotiations, and PO placement for your assigned skill-based categories (e.g., engineering or technical services).
+ Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost); escalate and drive corrective actions when KPIs slip.
+ Maintain contract files and ensure compliance with REPSE or other regulatory requirements.
**Drive Data-Based Excellence**
+ Collect, cleanse, and visualize spend and KPI data (Excel, Power BI) to spot inefficiencies and track improvement.
**Standardize & Simplify Processes**
+ Map “as-is” workflows, pinpoint bottlenecks, and propose Lean solutions—then help implement and verify the gains.
**Support Continuous-Improvement Projects**
+ Assist in GEMBA walks and 5-Why/Root-Cause analyses for issues affecting indirect purchasing.
+ Coordinate small rapid-improvement pilots; quantify benefits and create replication guides for other sites.
**Contribute to Special Projects & Transformations**
+ Join cross-functional task forces (e.g., new system rollouts, supply-risk mitigations, sustainability pilots).
+ Own project analytics, timeline tracking, and stakeholder communications to keep deliverables on scope, schedule, and budget.
**Enable Best-in-Class Tools**
+ Help launch new e-procurement features (catalog uploads, user testing, training materials) that compress requisition-to-pay cycle time.
+ Act as a super-user for your buying categories, coaching regional users and collecting enhancement requests.
**Engage Stakeholders for Excellence**
+ Field sourcing or tool questions from regional teams; escalate complex cases with clear, data-backed summaries.
+ Prepare crisp update decks for governance reviews, focusing on operational-excellence metrics and next-step actions.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field (internships/co-ops welcome).
+ 0–2 years of experience; exposure to indirect spend, basic buying, or Lean/Continuous-Improvement concepts is a plus.
+ Solid Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI, Tableau, or SQL exposure preferred.
+ Strong analytical mindset with a passion for process perfection and waste elimination.
+ Clear, concise communicator—comfortable talking to suppliers and executives alike.
+ Resilient under pressure; stays productive when priorities shift or timelines tighten.
+ High learning agility and curiosity; quickly absorbs new concepts, tools, and industry trends.
+ Adaptable team player who thrives in dynamic, fast-changing environments.
+ Self-starter eager to master both sourcing fundamentals and Operational-Excellence methodologies.
