Site Name: Poznan Pastelowa Posted Date: Jul 29 2025 Indirect Tax Manager (GST/VAT), 6 month contract We are seeking a VAT/GST Manager to oversee VAT compliance, accounting, and audit activities across our Vaccines VAT registrations (8 legal entities, 16 VAT registrations in 10 countries) with the support of KPMG organisation and in close collaboration Vaccines Global Process Owner (GPO) and Vaccines Close and Control (C&C) team based in Poznan, Poland. This role will be responsible for accurate and timely VAT reporting while identifying opportunities for process improvement and integration with broader Pharma operations. Key Responsibilities: Ensure timely and accurate VAT sweeping/centralization of accounts across multiple entities. Review and approve VAT/GST returns, including related filings such as Intrastat and EC Sales Listings including issue logs. Contact P2P or O2C to request corrections of identified issues where required. Record VAT entries and reconcile VAT accounts. Management of Dichiarazione d’Intento in compliance with Italian regulations. Perform annual compliance activities, including Import VAT reviews, VAT revision exercises, and 8th Directive filings. Lead and coordinate VAT audits, acting as the main point of contact for KPMG organisation.  Perform SOX controls accurately and in due time. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Vaccines processes into the wider Pharma model. Proactively identify and support efficiency improvements, in partnership with the Global Process Owner (GPO) / collaborate with GPO for integration of Vx entities/registrations. Contribute to VAT related projects (e-invoicing, S4Hana transition etc) Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related tax area. Experience with SAP ERP systems. Min. 2 years of relevant experience. Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Strong communication and presentation skills. A continuous improvement mindset, with a demonstrated ability to drive change and process enhancements.   Will be considered as an asset: Experience with VAT close processes and monthly tax reconciliations. Familiarity with tax technology tools and automation. Experience working in multinational or culturally diverse teams. Why GSK?
