Description The Indirect Tax Accountant is responsible for multiple entities indirect tax compliance and reporting obligations and reports to the Tax Director. The position involves preparing and filing indirect tax returns: sales tax returns; analyzing financial data; staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations; preparation and filing of business tax registrations; and the review, issuance, and management of tax exemption certificates. Participation in special projects and other duties as required. MUST HAVES: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting - 5+ Years of experience in Tax handling sales & use tax for multiple entities and states, sales & use tax audits, state annual reports, basic foreign tax returns, and ax withholding and other informational forms as needed (1099s, CA 592’s, FBAR) with an organization with $50 M + in yearly revenue. - Proficient in Excel - Pivot Tables, Vlookups, and formulas - Proficient in Word - Basic proficiency in Adobe NICE TO HAVES: ProSystems Fx Experience Caseware Experience Skills Tax, sales and use tax, tax audit, foreign tax returns Top Skills Details Tax,sales and use tax,tax audit,foreign tax returns Additional Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $66000.00 - $84000.00/yr.
