Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Indirect Procurement Specialist to join our cross-border team. This role is pivotal in optimizing our procurement processes and supporting our strategic initiatives to ensure cost-efficiency and quality in our indirect procurement activities. The successful candidate will have prior knowledge and expertise in Hardware Installation Services, Maintenance Services, and comfortable with taking the lead in high value contract negotiation.
Key Responsibilities
• Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, enhance supplier relationships, and ensure the highest quality of services.
• Procurement Strategy Delivery: Develop and execute sourcing plans to improve supplier quality, overall cost efficiency, supplier service levels, coordination, delivery, pricing, lead times, payments and risk mitigation.
• Development and implementation of RFIs and RFPs for suitable suppliers including selection criteria, assessment and supplier negotiations up to contract signature.
• Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations to secure the best terms and conditions, focusing on cost savings, risk mitigation, and compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with other cross-functional teams to ensure ongoing alignment and support of category management goals as well as Service initiatives and targets.
• Contributes to the development of category profiles, strategy and sourcing plans.
• Participate in category review meetings with the team and business partners to ensure alignment and common understanding of strategies, cost management objectives, supplier criteria and related considerations.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the services industry, ensuring the company remains competitive and informed.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and legal teams, to align procurement activities with business needs and objectives.
• Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the procurement function.
• Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
• BA/BS*degree and 2*4 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in indirect procurement within the services industry, with a focus on installation and maintenance services.
• Skills:

o Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
o Proven ability to develop and implement procurement strategies.
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
o Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
o Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Certifications: Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) are a plus.
