Indirect Engineering Audit Supervisor

In this position... 

Reporting directly to the PD Indirect Engineering Efficiency Chief Engineer, this position plays a key role in supporting the identification, development, and implementation of projects and processes designed to help Ford PD meet its cost objectives, specifically through the auditing of Lump Sum ED&T and Alert Invoices within a lean, focused environment. A significant part of the role involves direct interaction with key internal partners such as Finance, Purchasing, PD Functions, and Transformation Teams, as well as external partners like suppliers, engaging with them at both working and Senior levels. The individual in this role will be responsible for defining and driving Audit Team deliverables, providing support for senior management report-outs when required. Furthermore, the position entails partnering closely with key operating stakeholders to effectively manage cross-functional dependencies, leveraging the internal expert network to help drive solutions. Finally, the role includes owning the assessment of project status to support lean-based metrics and diligently tracking benefits and metrics in collaboration with key finance counterparts.

 

What you'll do...

Lead the day-to-day implementation and execution of ED&T and Alert Audits Builds relationships as one of the subject matter experts for ED&T and Alerts Leads key aspects of project management and support interface across functional teams Work closely with partners to facilitate issue resolution and escalation as needed; Develop recommendations where appropriate Supports governance processes and material preparation for specific cost elements or projects Manage day-to-day work for direct and indirect team members

 

You'll have... 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field Effective communication skills, both written and oral; ability to influence outcomes Process-oriented; organized, strong project management skills Systemic thinking: the ability to synthesize quickly and influence decisions Data-driven and strong experience in MS Excel and MS Office Program execution

Master’s Degree Strong business acumen including negotiation skills; cross-functional experience is an asset Ability to drive results in an unstructured and cross-functional environment
