**Job Information:**
**We are seeking a motivated and passionate Indigenous Relations Student Intern to join our Indigenous Relations and DEI team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Indigenous relations, community engagement, and cultural awareness initiatives. The intern will work closely with our Indigenous Relations and DEI team to support various projects and activities aimed at strengthening our partnerships with Indigenous communities.**
**About the Role:**
**As a CBRE Summer Intern, you will work on projects, learn about the business, make industry connections, and develop both hard and soft skills related a career in the commercial real estate industry. This role will provide valuable business and leadership experience, enhance your studies, and prepare you for your future career.**
**What You’ll Do:**
**Work with a dedicated mentor to obtain hands-on industry experience.**
**Assist in the development and implementation of Indigenous relations strategies and initiatives.**
**Support community engagement efforts, including organizing events and meetings with Indigenous stakeholders.**
**Conduct research on Indigenous issues, policies, and best practices.**
**Help create educational materials and presentations to promote cultural awareness within the organization.**
**Collaborate with team members on projects related to Indigenous relations and community development.**
**Provide administrative support, including scheduling, documentation, and communication tasks.**
**Students wishing to apply must be Indigenous (Status Indian, Non-Status Indian, Inuit or Métis) and enrolled in a post-secondary program.**

**Strong understanding of Indigenous cultures, histories, and contemporary issues.**
**Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.**
**Ability to work independently and as part of a team.**
**Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).**
**Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.**
