It harnesses the power of Citi’s talent, expertise and global reach to serve large and mid-sized company wherever they do business and achieve their strategic objectivesThe India Banking Business Execution team is responsible for supporting the franchise heads in Investment Bank, Corporate Bank and Commercial Bank - executing business strategy, driving operational excellence and promoting a robust control environmentWe are seeking an AVP (C12) to join the India Banking Business Execution team who can work closely with India Banking business heads, functional partners and Banking JANA & AS Business Execution team to support day-to-day management of the businessThe ideal candidate should be an effective communicator who can work alongside local and regional Business Execution team members, supporting and executing India Banking franchise's strategic agenda. Thought leadership, problem-solving ability and commercial awareness are essential attributes.A good understanding of the Banking industry, related risks and regulatory environment would be helpfulKey Responsibilities
Analyze and communicate financial performance, client opportunities, market trends and provide insights for country, cluster and global stakeholdersCoordinate regular business planning and review, and prepare analysis and senior management presentation for decision supportSupport the cluster Banking Business Execution team in executing business solutions along with product partners to address client needs and objectivesExecute key initiatives /projects for India Banking franchiseWork with business leaders and Risk and Control partners to ensure a robust operating environment, compliant with applicable laws, regulation and Citi policiesDevelopment Value
High profile opportunity with exposure to and regular interactions with Banking leadership teamDeep understanding of Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking and broader Citi businesses locally and regionallyNetwork relationship management skillsExperience / Skills
6+ years’ experience in Banking / Financial Services / Management ConsultingBasic problem-solving toolkit (structured and robust thought process with clear articulation of ideas)Intellectually curious and highly energetic, a self-starter who is able to identify opportunities and execute independentlyCommercial focus, ready to take ownership and accountability, and proactive mindsetComfortable with large datasets, strong analytical skills and extreme attention to detailStrong interpersonal and communication skills – ability to confidently interact with individuals at all levels and work collaborative in a teamMust have advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Tableau and VBA also desirableUniversity degree or higher------------------------------------------------------
