Job in a nutshell:
In this role you will play a key part in ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and international income tax regulations while supporting the optimization of tax processes and minimizing risks. You’ll bring your expertise in tax compliance, analytical mindset, and proactive approach to problem-solving to help maintain our company’s tax integrity.
What will you be doing:
• Prepare and file federal, state, local, and international income tax returns accurately and on time.
• Review financial data to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Manage estimated tax payments and reconcile tax accounts regularly.
• Conduct research on domestic and international tax regulations, ensuring compliance with evolving global tax laws.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure proper documentation and reporting for tax purposes.
• Assist in income tax audits, including those involving international jurisdictions, and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Identify potential tax risks, including those related to cross-border transactions, and recommend strategies to address them.
• Support tax planning initiatives, including transfer pricing and other international tax matters.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2 - 3 years of accounting experience (preferably in tax compliance)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent English communication skills to interact with stakeholders and authorities effectively.
