Description

Overview: The Senior Incident Readiness Test Conductor will play a crucial role in assisting with the planning, facilitation, and evaluation of Incident Readiness-led tabletops and simulation exercises, as well as the training associated with preparing Client and its partners for urgent events and incidents. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of incident response principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in dynamic, high-pressure environments. The ideal candidate will apply their expertise in exercise development, documentation, and communication to enhance client's overall incident readiness posture.Transdev is proud to offer:

Benefits vary by location.Job RequirementsExercise Development & Facilitation:Assist in planning, facilitating, and evaluating Incident Readiness-led tabletop and simulation exercises.Develop and improve exercise scenarios, injects, and facilitator guides.Lead and manage up to four communication channels simultaneously via various high- and low-tech mediums during exercises.Set up related chats for tabletop or simulation participants and/or role players.Start and end recordings of simulations and tabletops and ensure they are deleted within the appropriate time frame.Documentation & Recordkeeping:Regularly update documents related to training and exercises.Ensure the action item list used in preparing for each exercise is up-to-date with the latest status of each task and next step.Document and consolidate all resulting action items from each exercise and assist with transferring ownership to the appropriate teams.Create and/or improve the set of document templates used by the Incident Readiness team in planning, conducting, and evaluating tabletop and simulation exercises.Conduct other recordkeeping or document maintenance tasks as needed.Data Analysis & Improvement:Build dashboards and other visualizations within existing toolsets to make it easier for all stakeholders to interpret exercise results.Build new processes or improve the traceability and clarity of processes used within the Incident Readiness program.Perform post-mortem analysis of incidents and exercises to identify root causes and implement improvements.Communication:Communicate announcements and results from exercises.Provide clear and actionable insights from exercises and incidents to stakeholders.Communicate plans, thoughts, and rationale effectively to team members and stakeholders.Other:Apply clients policies, procedures, standards, and code of conduct throughout, including taking personal responsibility for the safety of self and others during testing.Respond quickly to changing and potentially high-pressure environments.Be able to work independently.Required Education and Experience:

 

Strong understanding of incident response and risk mitigation workflows and planning.Experience in conducting incident response exercises.Proven ability to manage multiple communication channels simultaneously.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Strong analytical aptitude and keen interest in driving efficiency.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially under pressure.Experience with post-mortem processes and continuous improvement methodologies.Proficiency in creating and updating documentation and reports.Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs):Experience in a similar incident readiness or response role.Familiarity with various security systems and incident response tools.Experience in developing automated workflows to reduce response times.Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations related to incident management.Physical Requirements:Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.Regularly required to sit for extended periods; occasional standing and walking.Must be able to use hands to handle or feel, and to talk or hear.Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs or ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.

 

The majority of work is performed indoors in a professional office environment or remote workspace with appropriate climate control and standard amenities.

Duties are primarily sedentary and involve extended periods of sitting, typing, and computer use (approximately 90–95%).

Must be able to operate a computer, telephone, and other standard office equipment as needed.

Occasional movement such as walking, reaching, or bending may be required to retrieve files, attend meetings, or support onsite events.

May be required to lift or carry office materials or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus for computer work and data analysis.Pre-Employment Requirements:All candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening in accordance with company policy.

This position is considered non-safety sensitive; however, employees may be subject to random drug screening if required by project or client standards.
