Incident Management Analyst

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk and Control Advisory team at Mercer Super. This role can be based either in our Sydney or Melbourne office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

Assist in the collection and analysis of incident data and trends across Mercer Super and related entities, providing insights to relevant forums and stakeholders.Support the incident management process via GRC, ensuring workflows are monitored, and appropriate policies and procedures are documented and followed.Verify breach reports submitted to regulators, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.Conduct reviews of root cause analyses and remediation/action plans, offering guidance on best practices and necessary improvements.Develop and support training programs focused on breaches, incidents, issues, and near misses to enhance understanding of the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) framework.

What you need to have:

1-3+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, or incident management within the superannuation or financial services industries.A foundational understanding of superannuation business activities, products, and associated regulations, including APRA guidance and industry standards.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends related to incidents, issues, and complaints.

Tertiary qualifications in a business-related disciplineExperience in incident management, remediation, or business analyst roles preferably within the superannuation industry or financial services.Effective communication skills, capable of conveying incident management concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with data analysis tools.
