Inbound Planner Intern
Job Description

Job Title: Inbound Logistics Intern
Department: Purchasing & Logistics
Location: Apodaca, Nuevo León

Purpose:
Support on-time delivery of direct materials by assisting with supplier collaboration and internal logistics processes, contributing to local and global improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with demand forecasting and capacity planning.
Place and follow up on raw material purchase orders.
Maintain updated master data in internal systems.
Support preparation of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Assist in supplier development initiatives.
Help monitor inventory levels and analyze stock data.
Support tracking of logistics KPIs.
Contribute to process documentation and improvement initiatives.

Tools and Systems:
SAP (ERP system), Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Lync, WebEx, internal intranet and logistics tools.

Profile Requirements:
Active bachelor’s student in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Engineering, International Business, or a related field, with at least one year remaining before graduation.
Basic knowledge of supply chain or logistics processes.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
Strong communication, organization, and proactive attitude.
Interest in continuous improvement and teamwork.

Experience:
No formal work experience required. Academic projects or previous internships related to logistics are a plus.
