About this team

Inbound logistics Global origin team is overseeing the Global Transportation from manufacturing factory locations in Asia and EMEA to distribution center locations worldwide including North America, Europe, and Asia. The goal for the team is to ensure every shipment will be handed over at origins on schedule, booked to depart from origin and hit our DCs on time for our business needs.

A day in the life: Be responsible for the On Time Performance of assigned origins towards our DCsFamiliarize with daily operations in Asia and EMEA origins with all ship modesBe accountable for PO predictability and handle end-to-end process from factory handover to arrival estimation within our DCsEnsure an effective shipping order and approval process to achieve OTP* Stay up to date with carrier vessel schedule and industry trends, and leverage this knowledge to drive transportation lead time optimization Communicate well with Production team to understand the production schedule and capacity to make sure vendor can deliver the right product on time, and escalate potential issues if neededWork closely with the vendors on lululemon production and logistics policies, processes and IT systems, and be able to apply this within internal timelines High collaborative spirit working with our internal and external partners to enhance daily freight efficiencies, and supporting initiatives if neededBe an organized and responsible individual who can respond to changes accordinglyUnderstands origin spend and localized export proceduresAdvise and mitigate risks that may arise from changing market situation Coordinate and support performance reviews with vendors and service providers

Qualifications:5-8 years+ working experience within logistics operations in a multi-national companyUniversity graduate in logistics management or related disciplines is preferredComputer literate (Microsoft office applications and outlook), ideally you are an MS Excel guru (V Lookup and Pivot Table knowledge is essential)! And you love working with a lot of Microsoft Office, Power BI, Tradestone, E2open and GTNexus!An understanding and practical knowledge of retail environment and international transportation Excellent command of both written and spoken English and MandarinExperience in the production field with logistics passion is a plus
