Inbound Logistics Coordinator Germantown, WI Job Band J The **Inbound Logistics Coordinator** is responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant coordination of inbound goods. This role plays a key part in managing inbound transportation logistics and maintaining communication across internal departments and external partners. The position supports the logistics team to deliver on customer expectations and internal KPIs. **Your Key Responsibilities:** • Monitor all orders to ensure they are on track for delivery date. • Create inbound shipments and deliveries in accordance with FIFO standards and customer service notes. • Ensure order value aligns with monthly and quarterly planning and company targets. • Collaborate directly with floor teams and operators to stage, label, and receive goods. • Schedule pickups for carriers and communicate through calls/emails per customer instructions. • Coordinate with subcontractors and external partners for inbound shipments and deliveries. • Manage pickups for inventory waste disposal following internal procedures. • Receive and manage appointment requests for inbound loads; communicate with the T&D team to ensure compliance with warehouse capacity and standards • Report any shipment delays or issues to finance, customer service, or external stakeholders. • Notify relevant parties when materials are staged at an off-site warehouse. • Work with planning and quality teams to support on-time-in-full (OTIF) goals. • Partner with customer service, finance, and compliance to resolve issues and escalate where needed. • Prepare shipment documentation and ensure warehouse is prepped for delivery. • Properly file shipping and logistics documents in compliance with site record retention policies. • Maintain awareness and certification for hazardous materials handling and export shipping as needed (e.g., dairy, health certifications). **We Offer:** **•** A competitive compensation package, with comprehensive health and welfare benefits. **•** A place to grow and develop. **•** A company that is purpose-led and performance-driven in a corporate culture that values people and planet. **•** The opportunity to work on growing brands and build on a strong foundation. **•** The chance to make improvements and make an impact on the business. **You Bring:** • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred. • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or distribution roles. • Experience using transportation and warehouse management systems (TMS/WMS), SAP experience preferred. • Familiarity with shipping requirements and certification processes a plus. • Must be able to work in a fast-paced logistics environment with exposure to warehouse and shipping operations. • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. • Proven ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks with a sense of urgency. The hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. The hourly wage is $30.00.
