INBOUND LOGISTICS ANALYST
Is responsible for coordinate seafreights and airfreights, give follow up with plant and forwarders for all the orders have bookings. Monitor and give follow up that all orders are shipped from plant to final destination (Mexico, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic). Validate invoices from Forwarder and record them. Additional responsibilities include prepare and complete costs reports, which needs to support optimizing domestic freight costs by monitoring trends. Be in constant communication with Global Procurement to give follow-up to Logistics problems and give feedback on supplier’s performance
Key job functions
Coordinate Seafreight and airfreights Follow up all the Orders with plants and freight forwarder Monitor all the shipments from the plant to final destination Control international and domestic freight costs Issue costs report Issuing PCT’s for sales department Give follow up to KPI’s with forwarders This position is considered as backup in case of absence of the Logistics Coordinator Follow up with Global Procurement about Logistics issues and Forwarders performance. Quote spot shipments (sea/air/inland) with actual suppliers.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferable in: Industrial engineering, Logistics, or International Business Experience: 1-3 years Advance English Level Forwarding experience (must) Preferable experience in Software: SAP. Advanced knowledge of MS Office-Applications, particularly MS Excel. Experience with supplier management.
