The Inbound Contacts Representative 2 represents the company by addressing incoming telephone, digital, or written inquiries. The Inbound Contacts Representative 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically, works on semi-routine assignments.
The Inbound Contacts Representative 2 addresses customer needs which may include complex benefit questions, resolving issues, and educating members. Records details of inquiries, comments or complaints, transactions or interactions and takes action in accordance to it. Escalates unresolved and pending customer grievances. Decisions typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods for completing assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.

**Required Qualifications**
+ **Must** live in Kentucky or Indiana within a **maximum** distance of 65 miles from Louisville, KY.
+ Must have 3+ years of Customer Service experience
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Strong typing and computer navigation skills
+ Ability to manage multiple or competing priorities, including use of multiple computer applications simultaneously
+ Effective verbal and listening communication skills
+ Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Previous inbound call center or related customer service experience
**Additional Information**
+ Training will take place **in office** Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 4:30pm Eastern Standard Time for 6 weeks.
+ Once training is completed, Representative will transition to **Work at Home** Monday through Friday, from 10:30am-7:00pm Eastern Standard Time.

**Required Work Schedule:**
**Training:**
+ This position is scheduled to start on **October 20th, 2025.** In office training starts on day one of employment and will run for the first **5-6** weeks with a schedule of **8:00am to 4:30pm Eastern Standard Time**
+ You must be on time and dressed appropriately during training and for other meetings required by leadership.
**Work Schedule Following Training:**
+ Following training, representative will transition to Work at Home with Monday through Friday, from **10:30am-7:00pm Eastern Standard Time.**
+ Shift bids periodically occur, based on business needs and is based on performance and tenure
+ The initial 120 days of employment as an Inbound Contacts Representative 2 constitute an appraisal period. This Appraisal Period is essential to your learning and development, which is why we ask for perfect attendance during both the classroom training and nesting periods.
+ The department has a strict attendance policy. Time off is not permitted during the first 90 days and is discouraged during the 120-day appraisal period.
+ This position requires learning many systems, policies, and tools, and it takes time to become proficient in the role. You must be willing to remain in this position for a period of twelve (12) months before applying to other Humana opportunities.
**Remote Work at Home Requirements**
+ Must have a separate room with a locked door that can be used as a home office to ensure you, and your patients have absolute and continuous privacy while you work
+ Must have accessibility to hardwired high speed internet with minimum speeds of 25mbps x 10mbps for a home office **(Wireless and Satellite are prohibited)**

**Pay Range**
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$39,000 - $49,400 per year
