Title: IB Forklift Operator
Location: Edgerton, KS
Work Arrangements: 100% on-site.
Pay: $ 23.46
Reports To: Distribution supervisor
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to operate a forklift in a safe manner.
Loading and unloading trucks.
Receive material.
Moving material.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Demonstrate and promote a solution-based positive attitude in meeting goals and objectives.
Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained with an eye for detail.
Promote and ensure a safe work environment.
Deliver quality products and services through adherence to company standards and operating procedures.

Must be able to stay on task, performing essential job duties, with an elevated level of accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience using an RF Gun or WMS inventory tracking system handheld.
Must pass the forklift certification training program.
Must pass a forklift written test and practical assessment.
Must be able to effectively read, comprehend, interpret, record, and apply information from documents.
Proven history of good attendance.
Capability to work well in a team environment and be willing to help solve problems and implement solutions with diverse employees.
A willingness to flow to work to meet the needs of the business.
Education and Experience:
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Previous work experience in a manufacturing warehouse and/or distribution environment.
Safely operate powered industrial equipment and follow all company safety Rules &Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
Work Environment:
This job operates in a distribution environment. The noise level in the work environment and manufacturing sites can be high.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to talk and hear.
Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Able to lift objects up to 50 pounds frequently.
May push and pull heavy trash carts, dough carts, portable equipment, and catch pans.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Reading, writing, basic English communication, basic math skills
Machines/Tools Used:
Forklifts, electric and manual floor jacks, computer systems, and other department specific tools. All tools and equipment which are required to be used by the employees shall be supplied and kept in repair by the Employer at no cost to the employee. These items must be kept on the premises.
