Position Overview:

This position is responsible for various functions within the inbound receiving department in conjunction with Warehouse Associate I functions. Cross-training in other department functions is conducted regularly. The inbound receiving department performs in a fast-paced team environment in accordance with warehouse practices. The inbound receiving department focuses on receiving product from suppliers and placing it into inventory.

Essential Functions:

Operates pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts.Operates dock doors and dock plate mechanisms.Unloads shipments off inbound trailers.Stages inbound shipments appropriately onto the receiving dock.Communicates with carriers.Maintains inbound paperwork, i.e. Bill Of Ladings (BOLs), delivery receipts, packing lists, commercial invoices, etc.Breaks down inbound shipments, sorts items.Scans parcel tracking barcodes and delivers packages to appropriate locations.Physically completes rework and builds kits.All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Basic Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and Outlook Basic knowledge of order flow through a warehouse Able to interact within a collaborative environment. Effective communication and teamwork across departments 

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in warehouse or manufacturing environmentAbility to use computers, communicate effectively and operate in a high-volume high output environment preferredFluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibilityBasic Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel and OutlookBasic knowledge of order flow through a warehouseAble to interact within a collaborative environment.Effective communication and teamwork across departments

Working Conditions:

Moderate physical demand: often lifting/moving average weight (up to 50 lbs./27 kgs). Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-10 hours) Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-10 hours). Job rotation may be required, where applicable Able to work in a non-AC environment

The anticipated pay range for this position is $17.00-$21.50, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
