Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud and Systems Administrator to join our dynamic Team.
The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of hands-on experience in managing and optimizing both on-premises and cloud-based environments.
A strong background in VMware, Windows Servers, Linux, Azure Cloud administration, and networking is essential.
The candidate will also be responsible for planning and executing on-premises to cloud migrations, leveraging tools like Terraform to build and manage Azure Landing Zones.
Key Responsibilities:
VMware Administration: Manage and maintain VMware environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
Windows and Linux Server Management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of Windows and Linux servers, ensuring they meet organizational needs and security standards.
Azure Cloud Administration: Administer Azure cloud infrastructure, including resource provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance.
Azure Local and Landing Zone Development: Design and implement Azure Landing Zones using best practices to facilitate secure and scalable cloud architecture.
Terraform Utilization: Use Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate the deployment and management of cloud resources.
On-premises to Azure Cloud and Azure Local Migration: Plan and execute migration strategies for moving on-premises workloads to Azure, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
Networking: Implement and manage network solutions, ensuring robust connectivity, performance optimization, and security within both cloud and on-premises environments.
Collaboration and Support: Work closely with other technical teams to troubleshoot issues and provide expert guidance on infrastructure-related queries.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and changes, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5-6 years of proven experience in systems and cloud administration.
Expertise in VMware, Windows Server, and Linux administration.
Strong experience with Azure Cloud services, including administration, security, and cost management.
Proficiency in using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
Demonstrated success in executing on-premises to cloud migration projects.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as Windows, Linux and VMware Certified Professional, Azure Administration Certification.
Experience with other cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud, is a plus.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
