Job Description & Summary:  A career within operations Consulting services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients maximize the value of their SAP investment with offerings that address sales, finance, supply chain, engineering, and human capital. We provide comprehensive consulting, system integration and implementation services across multiple SAP applications, products and technologies. Simply put, we focus on delivering business led, technology enabled change for our clients including industry specific enterprise resource planning and the latest in mobile, analytics and cloud solutions.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking talented professionals at the Associate and Senior Associate levels with expertise in Production Planning and Control within the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning, preferably in the metals (steel) or similar manufacturing industry and a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions in planning.

Key Responsibilities: 

Consulting and Client Engagement:

Lead and deliver high-impact consulting projects focused on production planning and control, process optimization, and operational excellence for manufacturing clients.Conduct in-depth diagnostics and analysis of clients’ production planning processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.Develop and implement tailored strategies, frameworks, and tools to enhance production planning efficiencies.Collaborate with client stakeholders to ensure seamless adoption of recommended solutions and drive measurable business outcomes.Provide thought leadership and insights to clients on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in production planning and manufacturing.

Support Business Development: 

Support the development of new business opportunities by identifying   

client needs, crafting proposals, and presenting innovative solutions.

Contribute to the creation of thought leadership content, including whitepapers, case studies, and industry insights, to showcase PwC’s expertise in production planning and manufacturing.

Qualifications:

Mandatory: MBA from a premier B-School (full-time flagship course preferred). 

Atleast 5 years of core experience in production planning and control within the manufacturing sector (steel and stainless steel preferred), Strong understanding of manufacturing & planning processes, preferably in the metals (steel) or related industries. Proficiency in using production planning tools and softwares. Very high proficiency on excel and able to build complex excel models. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Mandatory skill sets:

Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth project execution.Streamline processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Preferred skill sets:

P Develop and manage procurement strategies to support project requirements.Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure the best terms and conditions.erform Coding, Testing and QA in ABAP, HANA, BRF+, Web Dynpro and related programming languages.
