Within Advisory, PwC has a large team that focus on transformation in Government through Digital inclusion. The open position is for a candidate who desires to work with government clients and bring about a change in society. A successful candidate will be expected to work pro-actively and effectively on multiple client engagements over the period of time and take ownership of the entire project delivery he/she entrusted with.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement and manage scalable server, storage and network infrastructure solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address their technology needs.
Ensure high availability and performance of server environments.
Design and manage storage systems to support data integrity, availability and security.
Optimize storage usage and implement backup and disaster recovery plans.
Design and maintain robust network architectures to ensure seamless connectivity.
Monitor network performance and resolve issues to maintain optimal operation.
Implement security measures to protect infrastructure against threats.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations.
Lead technical projects and cross-functional teams to achieve strategic goals.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
Prepare and present reports on infrastructure performance and project status to management.
Mandatory skill sets:
Extensive experience with server technologies (Windows, Linux) and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
Strong knowledge of storage technologies (SAN, NAS, RAID) and backup solutions.
Expertise in network design and management including LAN/WAN configurations, routers, switches and firewalls.
Proficiency in network security practices and tools.
Experience in implementing and managing cloud infrastructure services.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven experience in project management and ability to lead technical teams.
Preferred skill sets:
Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, MCSE, RHCE or equivalent.
Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
Familiarity with ITIL processes and practices.
Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in infrastructure management.
Experience working in government or large enterprise environments.
Years of experience required:
5+ years of experience with server technologies (Windows, Linux) and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
Education qualification:
B.E. / B.Tech / MCA in Computer Science / Information Technology or related fields
