What will I be doing?
As an In-Room Dining Captain, you would be responsible for assisting management in the delivery and service of food and beverage items to guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nProvide supervision including, but not limited to, ensuring order rotation among servers, delegating responsibilities for the In Room Dining operation, and ensuring guest satisfaction\nTrain all new In Room Dining team members on the daily operation, including the Tray Away System\nSet up room service trays and tables to prepare for incoming orders\nPresent and retrieve checks to guests to obtain payment, set tables according to specifications, retrieve food and beverage orders from the kitchen and bar and deliver food and amenities to guest rooms, meeting rooms, and VIP rooms\nServe meals to guests, collect guest trays and respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner\nReturn payments/signed checks to order taker\nRespond to guest inquiries and resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner\nPerform order taker duties and answer room service telephone, as needed\nEnsure compliance with all Conrad policies and procedures that relate to In Room Dining and guest service in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations\nAssist Director of Food and Beverage in ensuring inventory is conducted to maintain proper par levels in In Room Dining\nWhat are we looking for?
