The company design and develops world class Hydraulic Brake System Parts that include Boosters, Tandem master cylinders and Proportionating valves. The Control Division develops innovative components, systems and functions in the field of vehicle safety, vehicle dynamics and driver assistance like ABS and ESP.RBIC would soon be expanding portfolio in passive safety and other Driver assistance products.

Job Description

1. Mechanical Design & development of new mold tools for new products/projects.
2. Design review with external suppliers to ensure lesson learnt & design standards are
implemented.
3. New tool tryouts & trouble shooting.
4. Simultaneous Engineering support for new product development.
5. Good knowledge of Tool design software (MFA, Catia, ProE…)
6. Knowhow, experience of plastic injection molding process and equipment.
7. Plastic molding trouble shooting & process establishment.
8. Complete preventative maintenance and repair of injection molds and associated
dies and fixtures. Tool management system detailed knowledge.
9. Tool room experience to make dies, punches as well as fixtures as needed.
10. Must be proficient in the precision manufacturing tools & measuring tools.
11. Very good knowledge of interpretation of tool and engineering drawings, sketches,
templates, manuals, etc.
12. Excellent problem solving skills,
13. Should be good team player and agile execution skills, ready for flexible work
schedule.

Qualifications

BE/ B tech Mechanical / Production Eng. PG : Tool design

6 - 10 years experience 

Additional Information

Functional Knowledge Skills required
1. Software knowledge - Catia, Solid works/ ProE and Creo
2. Mold flow Analysis knowledge NX10
3. Good analytical, communication and presentation skills
4. Knowledge of 8D, PSS, Shainin/ Six sigma..
5. DFMEA , PDCA and SPC
6. Proficiency over English
