Job Description

We're looking for a dedicated In-Line Production Material Handler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in our production process, specializing in one or more areas such as Supplies, Plastics, or Print Band Manufacturing. Responsibilities:

Accurately pack products according to specifications and special instructions.Verify product counts and prepare items for shipment or stocking.Generate identification and shipping labels using various tools.Monitor and sort products during production, performing in-line quality inspections.Assist Press Operators with equipment operation, maintenance, and cleaning.Seal packing containers and move materials to designated locations using mechanical hand trucks, pallet trucks, or train carts.Complete production and quality documentation (handwritten or via computer).Access and update inventory control and management systems.Stock packing stations and production lines, reporting any material shortages.Operate and perform routine maintenance on equipment like Shrink-Wraps, Core Cutters, or Grinders.Assist with maneuvering and mounting supply rolls.Maintain inventory, including inks and print media.Perform general housekeeping and waste removal.Collaborate with the team, contributing to problem-solving and process improvement.Support other material handling or company processes as needed.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

High School Diploma or equivalent.Proficiency in basic math calculations, including decimals and percentages.Legible handwriting and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Comfortable maneuvering weights up to 1000 lbs. using material handling equipment and hoists.Strong safety consciousness and awareness of hazards.A willingness to learn and demonstrate proficiency with PC database functions, automated labeling equipment, and measurement devices.Good vision, judgment, decision-making, planning, and organization skills.
