Description We are looking for a skilled Litigation Paralegal to support the legal department in its litigation functions. Though this role is in-house, it is not corporate; a strong litigation skillset is required. This role includes handling document preparation, court filings, discovery, and managing deadlines. Experience in medical malpractice, insurance defense, personal injury, or a similar practice area is preferred. Spanish speakers are also encouraged to apply! Responsibilities: • Assist attorneys in preparing legal pleadings, briefs, and discovery documents for state and federal litigation cases. • Coordinate and manage document production, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Handle calendaring responsibilities for court deadlines and monitor compliance with court rules. • Conduct legal research to support litigation strategies and case development. • File legal documents with courts, adhering to required procedures and deadlines. • Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for trials, including gathering evidence and organizing exhibits. Requirements • Minimum of four years of experience in a litigation setting, either in a law firm or corporate environment. • Familiarity with state and federal litigation processes, including filing protocols. • Proficiency in drafting pleadings, briefs, discovery documents, and managing document production. • Experience with calendaring court deadlines and researching procedural rules. • Knowledge of case management software and legal tools. • Paralegal certificate or attestation.
