Job Description & Summary :
Responsibilities

· PMO Leadership & Governance · Establish PMO governance framework, processes, and standards tailored to GST business requirements. · Develop and oversee a structured approach for project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. · Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to project managers and cross-functional teams. · Project Delivery & Execution · Lead end-to-end delivery of GST projects, including regulatory changes, client implementations, system integrations, audits, and process enhancements. · Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting compliance obligations. · Drive cross-functional alignment between tax, technology, legal, operations, finance, and external vendors. · Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management · Partner with tax and compliance teams to proactively monitor GST regulation changes and ensure timely project execution for compliance readiness. · Identify project risks, maintain risk registers, and ensure mitigation plans are in place. · Stakeholder Management & Communication · Serve as primary point of contact for senior leadership on PMO status, key project updates, risks, and dependencies.
· Facilitate communication across internal teams, government agencies, external consultants, and clients where applicable. · Conduct periodic steering committee reviews and executive briefings. · Portfolio Management & Reporting · Manage the GST project portfolio to ensure alignment with business strategy and resource capacity. · Implement project dashboards, metrics, and reporting tools for leadership visibility. · Drive performance measurement across projects for continuous improvement. · Process Improvement & Innovation · Continuously improve PMO processes by leveraging industry best practices, tools, and methodologies. · Introduce automation, technology, and process optimization initiatives to enhance GST compliance, reporting, and reconciliation efforts.
