Job OverviewThe ICM In-Business Training Lead is responsible for driving the strategy, oversight and execution of ICM’s technical training curriculum. The training lead will engage closely with ICM’s senior leadership team in assessing pillar-level and ICM-wide training needs and implementing thoughtful solutions, including (but not limited to): technology related training related to ICM’s transition to the Helios platform, application-based policy-related training, training tied to Consent Order, MRA, and/or CAP closure requirements, ICM’s new hire onboarding, Credit Officer and Senior Credit Officer training requirements, and more.
This role will also partner closely with HR Learning & Development on execution and implementation of any assigned training programs, Client-level learning programs, and any leadership development programming available.
As a strategic leader within the team, ICM In-Business Training Lead will report directly into the Head of ICM In-Business Talent & Communications within ICM’s Credit Product Strategy & Operations organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and shape ICM’s technical training strategy based on it’s responsibilities within the broader Wholesale Credit Risk Target Operating Model. Provide continuous monitoring and improvement of existing training programs including but not limited to new hire onboarding and wholesale credit related programming to ensure learning curve accelerationOversee the design, development, and delivery of all in-business technical training programs within ICM, including, but not limited to, Credit Officer and Senior Credit Officer programming, technology-related training and job aids associated with ICM’s migration to the Helios platform, new hire onboarding program applicable to all ICM Pillars, and all other technical training supporting ICM’s responsibilities within the WCR Target Operating Model (i.e. Policy, Standard, Procedure, and Process related training). Ensure training content is developed and maintained in alignment with Citi’s Non-Hierarchy Documentation requirements and Global Training Standard, where applicable.Undertake learning needs and gap analysis, including data gathering, research, and analysis of data. Research industry best practices on technical training development and delivery including best-in-class tools and applications to best meet ICM’s training needsDevelop and implement consistent methods and metrics to measure the effectiveness of training Partner with peer teams within Citi to share best practices and lessons learned to enhance the learning and development programs for ICMKnowledge/Experience:
Prior experience in a Credit Risk related role, training related role, or within a business execution / strategy / administration team in a banking or related organization required.Familiarity with administrative policy matters including Managers Control Assessment, Issues Management and Citi Policies and how they apply to training-related responsibilitiesKnowledge of and/or exposure within Credit Risk Management or Learning & Development for financial services Background in training or needs assessments, instructional design, and delivery for multiple modalities (e.g., classroom, self-paced, virtual).Experience working across regions, cultures, geographies required.Strong working knowledge of Wholesale Credit Risk Policy and the Wholesale Credit Risk Target Operating Model is preferred.

ICM’s objective is to provide integrated end-to-end credit underwriting, identification, measurement, management, and monitoring for wholesale credit across the enterprise.
Within ICM, the Credit Product Strategy and Operations (CPSO) team aims to provide best-in-class support of all ICM groups, driving improvements to strategies, processes, and policies across wholesale lending and to enabling all ICM to succeed through centralized support of key capabilities. The driving principles for the group are best-in-class Culture, Thought Leadership, and Execution.
Within CPSO, the In-Business Talent and Communications team manages the strategy, execution, and governance of all technical training, communications, talent management and engagement related activities required to support ICM's business operations, partnering closely with HR Advisors, Learning and Development, and Talent and Performance Management teams within Human Resources.
