**Location:** Hemlock, MI
_Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Hemlock, MI_
**Pay Rate:** $ 24.32 - $ 25.54 per hour
**Work Hours:** M-F 8am-5pm
**Education:** 2–4 year degree preferred
**Description**
The IMS Technician will serve as a key analyst and developer for Integrated Manufacturing Systems (IMS), supporting Camstar solutions and SSRS reporting tools. This position requires independent work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and will be responsible for software solution development, troubleshooting, and implementation. The technician will also ensure the seamless operation and availability of critical IT systems and services, working closely with internal teams and plant staff.
**Requirements**
• Minimum 2–3 years of IMS Technician experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong experience with Camstar (highly preferred)
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• In-depth experience developing and maintaining software in a production setting
**Required Qualifications**
**Education**
• 2–4 year degree preferred
**Qualifications**
• Strong understanding of SQL Server, including complex queries, views, triggers, stored procedures, and SSRS
• Proficiency in .NET, ASP, and VB
• Experience developing solutions for manufacturing applications
• Familiarity with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, test, troubleshoot, and document software
• Ability to manage and estimate task efforts effectively
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex application and IT system issues

• Self-starter with strong ownership of responsibilities and deadlines
• Effective communicator with the ability to explain technical information clearly
• Team player who collaborates well across departments
**Day to Day Responsibilities**
• Develop, test, and implement manufacturing software solutions
• Interact with customers to gather and define system requirements
• Review and respond to documented system issues and changes
• Oversee development quality to ensure deliverables meet specifications
• Troubleshoot complex applications and IT issues
• Follow software development lifecycle best practices
