A client of insight global is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced import Supervisor to join their team in Inglewood, CA. As an Export Supervisor, you will manage daily operations for both air and ocean exports, ensuring efficient and timely shipment processing. You will ensure all export activities comply with TSA and OGA regulations, maintaining high standards of security and legal adherence. Your role includes providing accurate quotes to overseas agents and customers, negotiating rates and contracts with carriers and contractors, including truckers. You will prepare and review all necessary export documentation, ensuring completeness and accuracy. Maintaining strong relationships with clients and addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally is crucial. You will supervise and support export team members, providing guidance and training as needed. Additionally, you will manage hazardous materials shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations (Hazmat certification preferred). Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality will also be part of your responsibilities.

Compensation:

$62,000 to $72,000.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
