Responsible for the import/export of machinery and equipment imported temporarily and permanently in a timely manner and in accordance with the laws in force. As well as establishing controls and procedures to carry out the control of such equipment, perform periodic audits to keep the database of fixed assets updated, both domestic and foreign, and carry out the necessary actions for the proper disposal of the same.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:


•    Coordinating the import and export of machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
•    Establishing controls and procedures for the management of imported and exported equipment
•    Conducting regular audits to keep the fixed asset database up to date for both national and foreign equipment
•    Taking vital actions for the accurate disposal of machinery and equipment
•    Collaborating with various departments to ensure the successful implementation of import/export strategies
•    Ensuring all documentation is accurately maintained and submitted in a timely manner

  For This Role, You Will Need:

•    A consistent record in import/export management, preferably in the machinery and equipment sector
•    Outstanding knowledge of international trade laws and regulations
•    Strong organizational and audit skills to maintain detailed records
•    The ability to strictly adhere to deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external partners
•    A bachelor's degree in international Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience
 

Experience: 3 years in similar position 
Experience in a maquiladora environment. 
Control and labeling of fixed assets
Languages: English preferred
