HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT This position is responsible for researching and preparing duty drawback claims. This position will also assist in creating new operating procedures and updating existing standard operating procedures. The successful candidate must have very strong computer, analytical, problem-solving skills, and experience with duty drawback programs. Experience working with ERP systems is a plus. The ability to work accurately with a very good eye for detail is an absolute must. Achievement of objectives must include an overriding commitment to quality that must permeate the areas of responsibility. Enable and Drive Change in the Organization. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE + · Support and maintain an effective and compliant US Duty Drawback Program. + · Support the Duty Drawback Full Desk Review (FDR) audit process. + · Support engagement with internal business stakeholders and partners to ensure drawback records are collected, recorded, and maintained. + · Coordinate and review import entry and export transaction documents as well as (AES filing) files for supporting drawback transactions and claim readiness. + · Assist in the conversion of Ferrotec’s selected carriers for EDI (paperless) including purchasing/ supplier cooperation start to finish then future maintenance. + · Support existing USHTS, Schedule B and ECCN classification cleanup effort including future maintenance. + · Support updating existing standard operating procedures and create new SOP for multiple functions within the traffic dept . Duties may change without notice at management’s sole discretion WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL + · 4-7 years of relevent experience. + Previous experience in developing and/or supporting an effective Duty Drawback program. + · Audit planning and execution with a high level of accuracy and quality. + · Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. + · Ability to recommend solutions while ensuring compliance with Customs regulations, rules, and policies. + · Ability to work in a highly dynamic, challenging environment where managing multiple tasks is routine. + · Strong organizational skills, communication, and interpersonal skills. + · Strong Excel skills a must. + · Must have analytical, datamining and problem-solving skills. + · Knowledge and familiarity with Oracle a plus. + · Familiarity with Automated Customs Environment (ACE), AES filing requirements. Physical & Environmental requirements : + · Occasionally ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like. + · Occasionally moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces. + · Occasionally remaining in a stationary position, often standing, or sitting for prolonged periods. + · Occasionally moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. + · Occasionally adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions. + · Occasionally communicating with others to exchange information. + · Occasionally repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. + · Occasionally operating machinery and/or power tools. + · Occasionally operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment. + · Constantly assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned. + · Occasional exposure to low temperatures and high temperatures + · Occasional sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. + · Occasionally light to heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds or more. + · Prolonged use of computer monitors. + Works around chemicals; Personal protective equipment is provided and required.
