We are looking for an enthusiastic import and customs affairs manager to join our purchasing team.

In this role, you will;

Coordinate and oversee import processes to ensure the timely delivery of materials while optimizing shipments in collaboration with suppliers and freight forwarders.Manage customs filings, HS codes, and duty payments while keeping up-to-date with trade laws and regulations to ensure full compliance.Prepare and review all shipping documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation while efficiently resolving customs-related disputes.Monitor import-related costs, identify opportunities for cost savings, and maximize the benefits of applicable trade agreements.Maintain clear communication with internal teams and regulatory bodies, while preparing detailed performance reports on KPIs and achieved cost savings.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.5 to 7 years in import operations or customs affairs, preferably in a global organization.Expertise in customs regulations and trade compliance.Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.Quick response to regulatory changes or shipment issues.
