The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will be responsible for tracking customer shipments, resolving any issues that arise and working with accounting on billing issues. Prior experience in the Freight Forwarding industry as a Customer Service Representative or in Operations is required.\n\nROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n \tOrganizes production by reviewing, planning, and allocating shipments.\n \tValidating and confirming ocean shipment bookings.\n \tManaging shipments from origin to destination to ensure customer satisfaction.\n \tManage daily emails/phone calls from customers.\n \tExceptional customer service, for both internal and external customers, in regards to the development and retention of the customer.\n \tDirect customer questions/concerns to the correct department for handling and respond with an answer to the customer.\n \tUse daily customer service report to make sure all release requirements have been met before containers arrive at final destination.\n \tRequest documentation from Agents and Steam Ship Lines (Telex Releases, Arrival Notices).\n \tProcess of freight payments.\n \tHandling transportation only accounts from start to finish.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications\n \tHighly organized and comfortable monitoring multiple task queues.\n \tCargoWise One experience is a strong asset.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
