Description
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) will be responsible for tracking customer shipments, resolving any issues that arise and working with accounting on billing issues. Prior experience in the Freight Forwarding industry as a Customer Service Representative or in Operations is required. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Organizes production by reviewing, planning, and allocating shipments. Validating and confirming ocean shipment bookings. Managing shipments from origin to destination to ensure customer satisfaction. Manage daily emails/phone calls from customers. Exceptional customer service, for both internal and external customers, in regards to the development and retention of the customer. Direct customer questions/concerns to the correct department for handling and respond with an answer to the customer. Use daily customer service report to make sure all release requirements have been met before containers arrive at final destination. Request documentation from Agents and Steam Ship Lines (Telex Releases, Arrival Notices). Process of freight payments. Handling transportation only accounts from start to finish.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Additional Eligibility Qualifications Highly organized and comfortable monitoring multiple task queues. CargoWise One experience is a strong asset.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
