As an Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for deploying and configuring
technical solutions within customer environments. You will lead system staging, on-site and remote deployments, hardware installations, and configuration of telecom software solutions. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution, including issue tracking, documentation, and report generation. Leveraging your experience in Linux system administration, networking, and databases, you will contribute to high-quality implementations and technical operations. Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a customer-focused attitude are essential, along with a willingness to travel as needed. Deployment of Enghouse products at Customer site (onsite and remotely).
This is a Hybrid role based in our Romania office, offering the flexibility to work from home or the office according to your preference. In this position, you will report to the
Manager, Operations.
Responsibilities:
Building and configuring new systems for deployment at customer sites (Staging). Deployment of new/upgraded solutions within the operators’ network (Onsite and Remotely). Projects implementation on customer sites (Hardware installation, Product integration/configuration and testing). Building Reports Project reporting and site documentation. Logging and tracking of Project issues. Writing technical Operations and customer facing procedure documents. Documentation of installations and configuration changes and knowledge sharing. Writing Unix Shell scripts.
Qualifications and Experience:
University graduate, Computer or Telecomm engineer degree. 1-2 years in an IT / Telecoms Support or Operations role. Working knowledge of Unix OS system administration (RedHat, etc.) Working knowledge in Networking and Database (MySQL, MariaDB, Oracle, etc.) Experience working within telecom software is a plus (Mediation, Billing, Settlement, Revenue Assurance, Fraud Management, etc.). Good trouble shooting skills Excellent communication skills. Good listener. Team player. Positive attitude is a must. Able to keep a good relationship with customers. Flexible and cooperative Fluency in English (verbal and written) communications is essential (an additional language is an advantage) Able to work under pressure and be quality oriented Willing to Travel on company business.
