We build, maintain, automate & publish trials, demos, digital experience center & events environments loaded with Siemens DI solutions on various virtualization platforms such as VMware, AWS & Azure. We work with cross functional teams to enable a consistent technical message and accessible platforms, and we proudly watch the content and environments we create support some of the most strategic marketing initiatives in the company.

We are looking for a Technical Content Consultant-Motion Control. This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the continental, United States.
Responsibilities:
Solution Implementation: Support the implementation of Motion Control Solutions for our industry specific demonstration assets, ensuring seamless integration with existing manufacturing systems like PLM, Automation and ERP
Installation and Upgrades: Execute the installation of Motion Control Solutions, ensuring a smooth deployment process. Manage and execute system upgrades to our demonstration assets to showcase the latest features and capabilities. Work with Dev Ops team to automate installation and upgrades.
Configuration: Configure Motion Control applications to meet the specific industry needs and requirements of our Industry experts, providing tailored solutions for optimal performance.
Technical Content: Create and enable the creation of demonstration assets that bring the technical message of Siemens to life
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, solution architects, and DEV Ops, to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Training and Documentation: Develop and conduct training sessions for presales and create comprehensive documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer and user understanding.
Knowledge Sharing/Reuse: Actively participate in the Knowledge Sharing sessions and host session for Motion Control practice experiences to support organizations knowledge sharing initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:
BS/BA from an accredited university Minimum 5 years of experience working with at least two of the following Siemens technologies:-TIA Portal
-SINUMERIK (e.g., 828D, 840D)
-SINAMICS
-Digital Drive Train
Experience designing control and automation systems using Siemens technologies such as PLCs, SCADA, DCS, drives, and switching devices. 5 years of hands-on experience with at least two Siemens controller types, such as: S7-400, S7-400H, S7-300, S7-1500, S7-1200, ET200 variants, S7-200, LOGO! 5 years of experience in configuring one or more Siemens drives (e.g., G120, V20, S120, SINAMICS V90) using SINAMICS STARTDRIVE V5.x or similar tools. Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship now or in the future.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electronics, automation, or a related field or equivalent practical work experience in control and automation. Experience integrating SIMOCODE using SIMOCODE ES software into automation systems. Exposure to integrating Siemens industrial components with IoT platforms (e.g., IOT2040, Mindsphere). Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with international and cross-functional teams. Familiarity with the broader Siemens software portfolio (e.g., Opcenter). Demonstrated experience working across the sales lifecycle (PreSales, Sales, Services). Demonstrated adaptability, customer orientation, and a strong interest in the intersection of technology and marketing.You’ll benefit from:

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.About Siemens:
