Summary:
Consolidated Electrical Distributors, Inc. is seeking an energetic and talented Implementation and Support Specialist to assist our Profit Center management to implement and maintain customer facing technologies. These technologies include e-commerce storefronts, marketing web sites and various mobile applications. Once initial implementation has been completed, this position will extend their support to assist local management to fully adopt and support their customer facing technology.
Successful candidates will have experience implementing IT technologies. Candidates must have the ability to quickly grasp strategic goals of management and develop, manage and execute plans to meet the desired goals.
Reports to: Product Owner
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, IT or Project Management or related fields
• Minimum of 2 years work experience leading software implementations, performing small-project management and/or developing and conducting end-user training
• Experience with end-user customer support and system administration
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with field users, product teams and management group
• Ability to work and communicate independently; and demonstrated ability to use good judgement
• Experience with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools
• Experience working with development teams and using support ticketing system(s)
• Experience selling technology solutions to management and end-users is a plus

This position operates in a professional office environment and is largely a sedentary role.

Essential Job Functions:
• For assigned Profit Center locations:
Develop plans with Profit Center management to implement and support customer facing technologies
Implement customer-facing applications, which will include planning, configuration, technical support and training
Provide ongoing technical support, adoption guidance for customer facing technologies
When required, assist Profit Center management and sales engineers to assist customers to adopt the technologies. This may require one-on-one assistance or campaign/event planning and execution.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by Profit Centers and end-users
Generate and, where necessary, escalate support cases to product development teams
Provide on-going consultation to Profit Center management on assigned technologies
• Support IT Product Owners by helping with collection of feedback
• Assist IT management to develop formal processes and procedures for this support organization
