Job Description
As a Material Handler, your day will typically involve cycle counts, data entry, operating a forklift, and handling saw operations, all while maintaining efficiency and safety, which is the top priority. You will work within various computer systems and use your math and reading skills to ensure accuracy in your tasks.
ResponsibilitiesPerform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.Enter data into computer systems accurately.Operate saws and other machinery as required.Ensure all tasks are performed with a strong focus on safety.Utilize math skills for measurements and calculations.Essential SkillsProficiency in forklift operation.Experience in a warehouse setting.Strong computer knowledge and math reading skills.Ability to perform cycle counting effectively.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Minimum of 1 year experience in a warehouse or production environment, preferably in a metals or manufacturing facility.Work Environment
The work environment is a warehouse and production facility with high expectations for production numbers and efficiencies. The team consists of 150-160 full-time employees. The dress code is casual with jeans, t-shirt, steel-toed shoes, and PPE provided by the company. Shifts are structured as follows: 1st shift from 6am-2pm, 2nd shift from 2pm-10pm, and 3rd shift from 10pm-6am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.20 - $20.20/hr.
