The STC Advocate role offers a unique combination of responsibilities and the opportunity to be the face of our company. As the first point of contact for customers selling their vehicles to us, you will ensure they have an exceptional experience. You will have the freedom to go above and beyond, providing a one-of-a-kind customer experience in a process that is entirely online.
Pay: $16-$21
ResponsibilitiesDeliver a uniquely special experience to each customer, embodying the spirit of a real-life advocate.Accurately and efficiently complete customer paperwork and take thorough notes in our customer tracking system.Prioritize safe driving and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with our CMV Driver Qualification policy.Assist team members with various tasks as necessary, demonstrating teamwork and collaboration.Drive a company-owned car to approximately 6-8 appointments daily at customer homes, greet customers, inspect the car being sold, complete paperwork on an iPad, and arrange towing.Essential SkillsCustomer service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and proficient in driving.Experience in clerical and retail sales.Detail-oriented approach to tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsSense of humor and passion for customer experience.Goal-oriented, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.High School Diploma or equivalent.Must be 18 years of age or older.Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record for the past 5 years.2+ years of customer-facing experience.Team player with an understanding of teamwork.Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate offerings clearly.Energy and drive to accomplish goals and meet deadlines.Interest in working in a fast-paced environment.Ability to walk, stand, and sustain physical activity for extended periods.Proficiency in English language (reading, writing, speaking, understanding).Excellent visual activity and manual dexterity for frequent driving.Work Environment
This is a temporary role lasting 6-8 weeks during the busy season, with a small opportunity to transition into a permanent position. The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor conditions, with potential exposure to inclement weather. The culture is vibrant, requiring excellent communication skills and brand ambassador qualities. The pace is quick, demanding flexibility, multitasking, and hard work. Enjoy downtime with ping pong and corn hole tournaments. Hours and pay rate vary by location, with some roles being contract and others contract-to-hire.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
