**Job Responsibilities:** We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated **Imaging Scientist** at the Scientist I level to join our Immunology Department. The successful candidate, with a demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, will work to develop and support **small animal imaging** projects in Immunology. We work at the interface between engineering and biology, and the successful applicant will work hands-on with optical and **SPECT/CT platforms** as well as **microscopy instruments** and play a key role in optimizing and implementing multiplexed imaging protocols. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in **in vivo and ex vivo imaging** techniques who is eager to contribute to the development and application of **multi-modal imaging technologies** to provide information to enable strategic decisions for Immunology portfolio. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience in **Biomedical Imaging,** Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields. + Performs **nuclear** and **optical imaging studies** involving mainly, but not limited to, **rodent models** of disease or **ex vivo samples.** + Develops, optimizes and implements **nuclear imaging (SPECT/CT and radiometric assays) and optical (BLI/FLI) image acquisition** and analysis protocols tailored to each study. + Performs ex vivo procedures such as tissue fixation, sectioning, histology, and optical microscopy. + Experience with animal handling; injections, anesthesia, drug administration, and necropsy. + In addition to educational requirement, minimum **2 years of experience in preclinical animal (rodent) imaging** research, with focus on optical and nuclear pre-clinical imaging acquisition and analysis. + Working with hClientardous chemical, biological or radiological materials. + Knowledge and understanding of statistical analysis About US Tech Solutions: US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
