Job Specific Duties: + Transports patients to and from the imaging modalities and assists with lifting patients on and off imaging equipment. + Performs patient care functions as directed and within scope of position. + Exhibits a passion for serving the needs of others. Explains examination procedures in a calm and reassuring way to provide a positive experience for the patient. + Performs arrival and/or end of day duties per department procedure and protocol. + Responsible for stocking assigned areas and assists with supply outdates. + Obtains current patient information, escorts patient to and from the designated exam area. + Assists with other administrative tasks as needed. + Assists with ordering, amending, and completing exams in the designated radiology information system. + Assists technologists with appropriate patient preparation related to the exam. + Prepares contrast injectors and performs injector disposal per department protocol. + Accurately reports all malfunctioning equipment and/or errors per department protocol. Documents safety related issues and outcomes. + Utilizes appropriate safety measures in the completion of all job duties. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed. PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs.
