What You’ll Do:
+ Be a friendly face! Greet and transport patients to and from imaging exams, ensuring they feel safe and supported.
+ Assist with patient care under the direction of our skilled technologists, providing reassurance and comfort throughout their visit.
+ Keep things running smoothly! Help prepare exam areas, manage supplies, and maintain a well-stocked and organized department.
+ Support the team. Assist with administrative tasks, patient preparation, and maintaining accurate records in our radiology system.
+ Prioritize safety. Follow department protocols for patient handling, equipment use, and infection control to ensure a safe environment for all.
What We’re Looking For:
+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and compassionately.
+ A team player with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to handle sensitive patient interactions with tact and confidentiality.
+ Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.
+ Previous experience in a patient care or healthcare environment is a plus!
+ CPR certification (Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) Responder) is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications:
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy required.
+ Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) Responder CPR certification successfully obtained within ninety (90) days of hire required.
+ Previous work experience with direct patient interaction preferred.
+ Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
+ Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
+ Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
Job Specific Duties:
+ Transports patients to and from the imaging modalities and assists with lifting patients on and off imaging equipment.
+ Performs patient care functions as directed and within scope of position.
+ Exhibits a passion for serving the needs of others. Explains examination procedures in a calm and reassuring way to provide a positive experience for the patient.
+ Performs arrival and/or end of day duties per department procedure and protocol.
+ Responsible for stocking assigned areas and assists with supply outdates.
+ Obtains current patient information, escorts patient to and from the designated exam area.
+ Assists with other administrative tasks as needed.
+ Assists with ordering, amending, and completing exams in the designated radiology information system.
+ Assists technologists with appropriate patient preparation related to the exam.
+ Prepares contrast injectors and performs injector disposal per department protocol.
+ Accurately reports all malfunctioning equipment and/or errors per department protocol. Documents safety related issues and outcomes.
+ Utilizes appropriate safety measures in the completion of all job duties.

Location: Logan Health Medical Center – Kalispell, Montana Schedule: Variable Shift – 12 Hours | PRN status
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs. Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
