Emphasis is placed on selection of appropriate imagery through analysis of audience needs, historical representation of ideas, stereotypes, and cultural iconography. What You Will Do: + Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions while incorporating innovative teaching strategies. + Engage students in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends. + Assess student performance and mentor classroom success to prepare them for their chosen career path. + Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University. What You Will Bring: + Minimum: Bachelors in Advertising or Bachelors in Graphic Design or Bachelors in Visual Communication or related area. + Preferred: Masters in Advertising or Masters in Graphic Design or Masters in Visual Communication or related area. + All instructors must have 3-5 years experience in the industry AND + Experience with photo manipulation or vector and pixel based imagery or hand illustration techniques AND + Knowledge of current design & production software or design principles and production methods.
