About this Opportunity
Join Ericsson’s International Mobility (IM) team to manage complex mobility programs for the Americas (LATAM, USA, Canada) and support global assignments. Oversee the full mobility lifecycle — LTAs, STAs, business travel, foreign local hires, and executive moves — while advising leaders on cross-border risks, compliance, tax, and regulations.
This independent, high-impact role demands expertise in IM operations, consulting, vendor management, and compliance, with a focus on digitization, operational excellence, and employee experience.
What You Will Do
Advisory & Compliance
• Act as SME for Americas IM programs; advise on policies, risks, tax, payroll, labor law, and compliance.
• Ensure tax, immigration, labor law, and GDPR compliance.
• Support executive, inbound/outbound, business travel, and short-term assignments.
Service Delivery & Operations
• Manage end-to-end IM processes: initiation, cost projections, comp set-ups, vendor coordination, relocation, assignment management, and repatriation.
• Handle payroll coordination, IM comp calculations, tax settlements, allowances, and third-party payments.
• Conduct SOX controls, audits, and ensure data privacy.
• Deliver business reviews, market updates, and governance reports.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
• Partner with vendors to ensure seamless delivery.
• Act as escalation point for complex/executive cases.
• Advise managers, HRBPs, and employees on IM policies, exceptions, and challenges.
Reporting, Data Management & Analysis
• Maintain assignment records and employee data.
• Perform audits, statistical reporting, and prepare monthly business reviews.
• Ensure legal and data privacy compliance.
Project & Process Excellence
• Drive process improvements, simplification, and digitization.
• Support IM projects, change management, and best practices.
• Lead automation, AI-driven analytics, and operational optimization.
You Will Bring
• Minimum of 8+ years of IM experience in multinationals.
• Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels, including executive stakeholders and global teams
• Proven Americas IM expertise in assignments, tax, payroll, immigration, and compliance.
• Strong advisory skills for executive/senior leader consultation.
• Vendor management experience (tax, relocation, immigration).
• Advanced MS Excel, HRMS (SuccessFactors preferred), and reporting skills.
• Experience with SOX, audits, GDPR compliance.
• Ability to manage complex, sensitive executive cases.
• Strong analytics, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• High attention to detail, audit mindset, and customer-centric approach.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fair knowledge of global tax, economic employer risks, and cross-border financial implications preferred.
