**Summary:** Meta is looking for an Illustrator to join the Geodesic Visual Systems team in supporting Meta’s ads and business products. The role is to partner with Meta’s product teams to create illustrations in our new illustration style and implement them across our products at a high level of quality that inspires user confidence, clarity, and trust.We are looking for an experienced creative to join the team with a background in illustration. This includes executing against creative briefs, working closely with cross-functional partners, and ensuring quality throughout the entire creation process.Geodesic Visual Systems works with the Geodesic Design System and product teams to support Meta’s ads and business products. You will be collaborating and providing a creative point of view with animators, art directors, content designers, product designers, and engineers to grow and evolve work from a design perspective. **Required Skills:** Illustrator Responsibilities: 1. Help maintain the highest level of visual design craft in our products 2. Generate concepts and illustrations quickly based on team art direction and stakeholder feedback 3. Manage multiple individual projects in an organized way that guarantees on time delivery and a clear work flow 4. Collaborate closely with Product Designers, Content Strategists, Art Directors, and Creative Directors to understand how the product needs map within an illustration/animation system 5. Consider how all aspects of a product (content, design, and illustration) work together, and how illustration can be used to strengthen user experience **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 6. 2+ years of experience in illustration 7. An illustration portfolio that demonstrates conceptual, compositional, and color skills 8. Proficient with Adobe Illustrator and vector graphics 9. Experience working on projects such as editorial illustrations, storyboards, narrative, promotional campaigns 10. Experience developing illustration concepts for motion and telling universal stories **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 11.
