Roles & Objectives
As an Intern in the IFMS (Integrated Facility Management Services) team, you will support the Factory Service department in ensuring the continuous and safe operation of utilities equipment and systems at Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna S.p.A.. You will report to the IFMS Manager and be based in Bologna.
You will join the IFMS team, assisting in the management and optimization of utilities and facility services, contributing to projects and daily operations to ensure compliance with PMI standards, sustainability, and operational excellence.
Specific Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring and reporting on the operation and maintenance of utilities (electricity, steam, gas, water, etc.).Support the team in coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities.Help prepare technical documentation and data for internal stakeholders and external suppliers.Contribute to the implementation of sustainability, health, and safety policies by supporting compliance checks and documentation.Participate in the analysis of energy consumption and environmental impact, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to utilities management and facility projects.Support the team in budget tracking and cost analysis for utilities operations.Collaborate in the research and benchmarking of new technologies and best practices for facility management.
Who we’re looking fo
University student or recent graduate in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or similar).Interest in facility management, utilities, or industrial operations.Fluent in English and in ItalianFamiliarity with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)Strong analytical and organizational skills.Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with diverse stakeholders.Willingness to adapt to new challenges and learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
