Job Overview:
To manage and deliver the Facilities Management services for the agreed (Soft and Hard) – Tier 1 Offices/Tier 2 offices/ Tier 3&4 offices and allocated branches ensuring the team, Mitie Service Lines and 3rd party suppliers maintain and repair the services of the facility in line with the clients' contractual requirements, agreed timescales and budget. During this role, you will work closely with the Head of Operational Excellence and report directly to the IFM Regional Facilities Manager.
Candidate Ideal Location: - Cambridge / Colchester or North Essex / Norwich Candidate must be able to drive.Main Responsibilities:
Oversee FM service delivery, ensuring high standards through daily inspections, SLA compliance, and proactive issue resolution. Manage a P&L of over £1 million, ensuring budget adherence, identifying scope creep, and applying change control processes for any contractual changes. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs, avoid escalations, and support integration plans aligned with workplace strategy. Ensure adherence to H&S procedures, promote a safety culture, and manage regulatory compliance across all FM operations. Lead third-party supplier relationships, ensuring no compliance breaches, driving innovation, and maintaining service excellence. Identify and report operational risks, manage building incidents, and support call-outs and escalations effectively. Create business cases, define project scopes, develop schedules, and manage dependencies and resources for successful delivery. Monitor building KPIs, audit actions, and team performance, ensuring alignment with LBG and Mitie standards. Support team growth through SMART targets, training compliance, development plans, and performance improvement initiatives. Identify opportunities for service enhancement and business growth, supporting Mitie's expansion into new services and markets.
What were looking for:
Extensive experience within facilities management at Manager level or equivalent. Excellent customer and client service skills. Confidence to manage multiple sites/buildings. Advanced proficiency within IT utilising Office packages and CAFM systems. Strong organisation and time management skills.
