IDM Medical & Leaves Manager
Position Responsibilities: Manages a team of nurse case managers and leave specialists Evaluates vendors that provide medical management services for work or non-work-related injuries/illnesses. Recommends new vendors and programs that will enhance medical outcomes for employees and the business to support timely return to work Reviews and provides guidance to team on short term disability/FMLA and Workers compensation claims, while updating all medical panels for panel states in workers’ compensation Assists in locating and implementing new offsite clinic options for work injuries/illnesses. In addition, develops and provides clinic protocols to clinics providing medical evaluation and treatment of our employees Provides oversight of Telephonic Case Managers and Field Case Manager vendors providing direct service to employees to maintain quality of service Manages the serious injury hotline and engages the appropriate resources for medical management of serious work injuries Other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree with 6 plus years of related experience and 4 plus years of supervisory experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 9 plus years specific experience and 5 plus years of supervisory experience Benefits At the Reyes Family of Businesses, our Total Rewards Strategy prioritizes the holistic well-being of our employees.
