We're looking for a dynamic sales engineer to join our team and serve as the technical bridge between our innovative platform and potential clients. You'll demonstrate our ability to rapidly iterate and build custom solutions on top of our internal platform while working directly with prospects to showcase the art of the possible. **What You'll Do** + **Lead technical demonstrations** with potential clients, showcasing our platform's capabilities through live prototyping and custom solution development + **Rapidly prototype client-specific solutions** during sales calls and follow-up sessions, turning ideas into working demos within hours or days + **Collaborate closely with the CTO** to understand technical roadmap and translate complex capabilities into compelling client narratives + **Partner with the sales team** to identify technical requirements and craft solutions that address specific client pain points + **Design intuitive user experiences** for client demonstrations, ensuring prototypes are both functional and visually compelling + **Iterate quickly based on client feedback** during the sales process, adapting prototypes and approaches in real-time + **Communicate technical concepts** to non-technical stakeholders, making complex platform capabilities accessible and exciting + **Drive technical discovery** with prospects to uncover integration requirements and solution architecture needs **What We're Looking For:** **Technical Experience:** + 3 or more years of web development experience with a focus on rapid prototyping and client-facing development + Strong proficiency in modern web technologies including TypeScript, Python + Experience integrating AI/ML APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) with demonstrated ability to quickly implement and iterate + Solid understanding of both frontend frameworks and backend architecture patterns + Experience with cloud platforms and modern development workflows **Design & User Experience:** + **Strong UI/UX design skills** with ability to create polished, intuitive interfaces quickly + Experience with design tools and frameworks that enable rapid visual prototyping + Eye for detail and user experience principles that translate into compelling demonstrations + Ability to balance functionality with aesthetic appeal under tight timelines **Communication & Client Interaction:** + **Exceptional communication skills** with ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences + Experience in client-facing roles or technical sales environments + Comfort presenting live demonstrations and handling technical questions on the spot + Strong ideation and problem-solving abilities that shine during client interactions **Rapid Prototyping & Iteration:** + **Proven track record of rapid prototyping** and iterative development + Ability to quickly assess technical feasibility and provide realistic timelines + Experience turning business requirements into working prototypes within compressed timeframes + Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving sales environments **Mindset:** + Thrives in client-facing, high-stakes demonstration environments + Enjoys the challenge of rapid iteration and creative problem-solving + Values both technical excellence and business impact + Passionate about showcasing technology's potential to solve real problems + Natural curiosity about client needs and market opportunities **What you must have:** + A minimum of three years of web development experience, with a primary focus on rapid prototyping and client-facing development + A demonstrated track record of successful rapid prototyping and iterative development, supported by at least three years of experience + Strong UI/UX design skills, evidenced by a minimum of three years of experience creating polished and intuitive interfaces swiftly + Experience in integrating AI/ML APIs (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar), with a proven ability to quickly implement and iterate, supported by at least three years of relevant experience **Working at ICF** Working at ICF means applying a passion for meaningful work with intellectual rigor to help solve the leading issues of our day.
