Job Description:

The role reports to the Team Lead Infrastructure and the Head of Engineering (Chief Engineer). The role is based in Riyadh, but frequent travel to locations in Saudi Arabia is required. Occasional international travel is also expected.

The successful candidate shall hold the following required qualifications and should be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology / Sciences or related field Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain certificationAdvanced knowledge in MS Word Excel More than 10 years of relevant experience is mandatory in supporting large complex programs / Projects Experienced in the creation and definition of Installation Manuals, such as OEM manuals, Data SheetsExperience in the writing of Product Breakdown StructureExperience in the detailed planning for the preparation of technical documentationAbility to work under pressure and to deadlinesStrong analytical, problem-solving, solution oriented Strong service orientation, delivery focus, self-motivation and capability to solve conflictsGood communication skills; both written and verbal Quality sensitivenessTeam player and cooperativeFlexible (willingness to travel) / adaptable / enthusiastic / motivated / self-confidentAbility to work in a customer-oriented environment and within the cultural environment of Saudi ArabiaWorking level of English speaking and writing

Benefitial Qualifications and Experience:

Have a strong engineering background working on large integration projectsExperience in working with direct interface to the customerDriving license

Key Result Areas & Areas Of Accountability:

Create, update and maintain technical documentation, including installation manuals and user guides and API referencesEnsure that all documentation is accurate, up to date and readily accessible.Support the INFRA with the creation of site type PBS.Work closely with Engineering Team to understand technical details and ensure that documentation is comprehensive.Participate in the Change Request process.Participate in document reviews to identify areas where technical documentation can be improved.Support technical writing support to other teams as needed.Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve documentation related issues.Strong understanding of technical writing and documentation standards.Familiarization with software development lifecycles and methodologiesSchedules due dates to drawings, specifications, software technical manuals and related documentsAct self-sustained and as a team player
